Tanauan City buys local milk for residents

In response to the NDA’s call to include milk in the LGU’s food rations, the Tanauan City government purchased over 1,300 liters of milk from DH Magpantay Dairy Farm, which is one of the NDA’s assisted farms in Batangas. The said milk was processed by the Katipunan ng Kooperatibang Maggagatas, Inc. (KKMI) in Calauan, Laguna. A total of 1,393 milk packs, containing 1 liter of pasteurized cow’s milk each, were distributed by the Tanauan City Social Welfare Development (CSWD) to the senior citizens and frontline workers in the community. The milk distribution was conducted on March 31, 2020.
